Internet Dialer
Internet Dialer adds convenience to your everyday dial-up
networking. This multi-functional dialer allows you to connect to the
Internet with one click from the system tray. The program will monitor
your connection, and automatically redial multiple numbers if you're bumped
off-line. Its skinnable toolbar-style interface displays the current time
and your actual connection speed. Internet Dialer also displays the amount
of time you spent on-line.
Internet Dialer can automatically open a number of applications
once a connection is reached. For example, it'll run your browser and
e-mail client, and instantly close them once you're off-line. Excellent
for downloading, you can also schedule connections and disconnections
for certain times, including off-peak hours. Internet Dialer is loaded
with extra features, such as a tool that synchronizes your PC clock with
timeservers on the Internet. There's also a Keep Alive function that prevents
your ISP from disconnecting you.
Internet Dialer
records statistics for each on-line session, regardless of which dial-up
program you use. These generated log files may be exported as Microsoft
Excel spreadsheets. Internet Dialer is an well-implemented program, and
features multi-language support.
